Wavelettes Moebius Cowl Knitting Pattern

The Wavelettes Cowl is knit using a true moebius cast-on, creating a continuous loop with a gentle half-twist that allows the fabric to drape beautifully. The structure is as thoughtful as it is elegant: a long facing of striped stockinette is seamlessly attached with a tidy i-cord bind-off, enclosing the wrong side of the work between two soft layers. Materials

Yarn A: The Fibre Co TRANSITIONS (328yds/300m, 100g, 50% alpaca, 50% Peruvian Highland wool): 1 cake - or 315yds, Auroral Flux.

Yarn B: The Fibre Co AMBLE (355yds/325m, 100g, 70% Merino wool (easy-wash), 20% alpaca, 10% recycled nylon): 1 skein - or 250yds, in Blencathra.

US 2.5 (3mm), 47" long only circular needle - or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge/Tension

In Stockinette knit flat: 30 sts & 36 rows = 4"/10cm with US 2.5/3mm needles, after blocking.

In 2-color wavelettes pattern knit in the round: 22 sts and 44 rows = 4"/10cm with US 2.5/3mm needles, after blocking
