Important Early Bird Information

Sign up for the Shetland Yarn Club (delivers quarterly) before March 15th and receive $10 off your first box. It's important to note that you are charged immediately for the April box (because that's how the software works), and then on the 2nd of July, October & January and your subscription box will ship between the 3rd and 5th of the same month. 

We have a few additional seasonal yarn bundles available for purchase. These bundles include colors which are not included in the quarterly subscription.

Subscription Details

• The Yarn - You'll receive yarns from both Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift (5-6 skeins) and Jamieson's & Smith (2-3 skeins), for a total of eight coordinated colors of the season for your enjoyment.   Each skein contains 115 yds of 100% fine Shetland wool in a fingering weight, woolen-spun yarn, perfect for stranded colorwork.
• A Small Project - Each box will contain a small project themed for the current season. The project includes a pattern focusing on one area of colorwork, plus supplies and a printed pattern. The small project will use only yarns from the box.
• Larger Project Pattern - A pattern for a garment or other larger project will be available as a pdf. Extra yarns may be required and will be available as an add-on to the subscription.
• Video Tutuorials - Step by step video tutorials are provided to support both the smaller and larger projects.
• Sample bobbins - Bobbins are included. Wind them with about a yard of yarn and use them to explore new color combinations.
• Extra Goody - A useful knitting notion is included whenever extra supplies are not needed for your project.
• Shipping - Shipping to anywhere in the contiguous United States is included in the price of your subscription, so there won't be any surprises at checkout!

All the other Details

• Invoicing - When you subscribe you'll be charged for your first box right away, and on the 9th of each subsequent month. 
• Initial Shipment - If you subscribe between the 1st and 9th of the month, your first box will be shipped between the 10th and the 15th of that month. If you subscribe after the 9th, the current month's subscription will be shipped to you right away.
• Subsequent Shipments - after your initial shipment, your subscription will be shipped between the 10th and 15th of the following month, and every month thereafter.
• Cancellation - The short answer is yes, you may cancel any time for any reason. When you feel your collection is large enough it's time to cancel your subscription. Between the two Shetland yarn companies there are over 300 colors in the palette, and it would take nine years to collect them all! 
• HOW to Cancel  - Click on the person icon at the top right of any page.  Log in if necessary, then go to "manage subscriptions" in the top navigation bar. Please note that we are suspending pauses because we have so few spots remaining we cannot guarantee fulfillment should you decide to re-activate your subscription.
• While you wait - We occasionally have a few extra boxes or yarn bundles from past quarters.  Once you subscribe you'll receive a welcome email (check your spam if you haven't received it).  Inside the email you'll get a link for the collection of past yarn boxes & bundles.
