A small seasonal project, along with supplies and a QR code for the video tutorial is included in the Deluxe Box. The project can be completed in just a few evenings. And... you'll have plenty of yarn left to use for larger projects too!

For $80 per quarter, your subscription includes:

  • The Yarn - Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift and J &S yarns, in eight coordinated colors of the season for your enjoyment. 100% fine Shetland wool.  Each skein contains 115 yds of fingering weight, woolen-spun yarn, perfect for stranded colorwork.
  • The project - a small project with printed pattern themed for the season!
  • Garment Pattern pdf - a larger pdf will be available using the colors of your box. For larger projects, additional skeins of some colors will likely be required.
  • Video Tutorials - to guide you from start to finish. These will be available for both the small project and larger garment.
  • Extra Goodies - Notions &/or supplies for your color adventure project.
  • Local Pickup - The option of local pickup for those of you living in the Denver/Boulder area.
  • Shipping - Shipping costs are included with your subscription, so no extra surprises at checkout!

Meet Catherine

I'm a knitwear designer and the founder of Sweet Meadow Knits. I decided to start the Yarn Club to make it easy and affordable for knitters (like you!) to build a real-life library of stranded colorwork yarns to choose from... in colors that work together harmoniously. You'll also get video tutorials specific to your project, and access to general tutorials to support you on your journey to color confidence.

Shipping is included to all destinations within the continental USA.

Your card is charged for your first box upon subscribing, then on the 2nd of each quarter thereafter.

Your first subscription is shipped between the 3rd and 5th of the quarter, (April, July, October and January).

After the initial subscription payment, your card is processed on the 2nd of each quarter thereafter (April, July, October & January), and your subscription is packed and shipped between the 3rd & 6th.

Yes, past boxes are available to subscribers, unless sold out (sometimes we run out of project materials). The link for this collection is provided in your welcome email (be sure to add us to your contacts, or check your spam box if you don't see an email within an hour or two after subscribing).

We currently ship subscription boxes for the flat rate of $7.00 within the continental US. For all other locations your shipping will be calculated at checkout.

All of the yarn is 100% genuine Shetland wool from Shetland sheep raised on the Shetland Islands off the coast of Scotland. The processing mill is also located in Shetland.

The fibers in Shetland wool, although very fine, have been stretched during the spinning process and may feel prickly before washing. Soaking or blocking your finished garment allows the fibers to relax and bloom, making the yarn feel much softer.

Yes you can! Just as with any knitting, you'll improve with practice. There are several different techniques to choose from which all give good results.

Subscription Boxes have been produced especially for our members, and cannot be returned.

You may cancel anytime. Click on the small person icon in the top right navigation menu on any page. Log in with the same email you used to subscribe. Then click "manage your subscription" in the top left navigation menu. (Optionally, email me & I can cancel it for you.) You may always resubscribe at the then current price.

Good news! Your price will never go up for as long as you are subscribed.
