Summer Lilies Knitting Pattern

The nodding blossoms of Lilies of the Valley take center stage as they meander up the back of this sleeveless top. European shoulder detailing and understated finishing give the top an updated, modern feel. 

The sample is worked up in Twisp by HiKoo, a lovely blend of cotton, bamboo and hemp, perfect for keeping cool on summer days. Please note that yarn substitutions may not produce the desired look or feel of your finished project.

The sport-weight yarn is knit up on size US 7 needles, and is knit flat to lend structure to the cool, drapey fabric. This top features modified drop-shoulder construction and is designed to be worn with 2-3.5”/5-9cm of positive ease.

Materials

Hikoo Twisp (164yds/150m, 100g, 70% pima cotton, 20% bamboo viscose, 10% hemp): 4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7) balls, Lagoon.

US 7 (4.5mm) needles - or size needed to obtain gauge.

US 6 (4.00mm) 16" circular, or 2 circulars, or dpns, to use for reverse stockinette trim at sleeves and neckline.
