This 100% wool, 3-ply yarn is sourced from US-raised Targhee and Rambouillet sheep flocks. These breeds are nearly as soft as Merino, but have the advantage of a longer staple length, for less pilling over time. This is the perfect yarn to use for cabled sweaters or shawls... anything requiring great stitch definition!
