Angelica is one of my favorite garden plants, and its soft, frothy petals are the inspiration for this feminine, figure-flatterning cardigan.

The sample shown is knit up in our own "Angel Sport", in Turquoise. It is a smooth, two-ply sport-weight yarn in a blend of alpaca and merino. The alpaca adds a slight halo effect. If making a yarn substitution, keep in mind that two-ply yarns allow your lace to open up.
The cardigan is knit in-the-round from the bottom to the arm openings. From there, the fronts and back are then knit separately to the shoulders and then seamed. Once the main body is worked, the peplum is worked from the waist down. The sleeves are worked flat and seamed into the arm openings before adding lace trim to finish the neckline and cuffs.

In Angelica Lace st, 19 sts & 24.5 rows = 4"/10cm with US 4 needle, after blocking. To save time, take time to check gauge.
